6th Annual North American Forum: Investing & Partnering in Biotech
3/12/2007
With presentations already confirmed from Michael Lytton, General Partner, Oxford Bioscience Partners, Jonathan Leff, Managing Director, Warburg Pincus and Dennis Purcell, Managing Director, Aisling Capital, this event will showcase both pre-IPO and small cap listed companies over 2 days interspersed with up to the minute panels and keynote presentations with themes including: personalized medicine, tools and investing in small pharma, the 2007 event is being re-designed to offer extra meeting availability and more access to those at the heart of today’s business environment.
Giving you the opportunity to forge new alliances and partnerships, renew old ones and secure financing new initiatives, this event provides maximum exposure to leading analysts, experienced sector-specific venture capital groups, VC and money managers whilst providing the opportunity to communicate your projected capital raising plans.
Delegates can attend corporate, analyst and investor panels and listen to streamed presentations from over 20 companies throughout the event. The forum is highly regarded as transactional and presenting companies and speakers are generally available for one to one meetings arranged in advance through Sachs Associates’ online one to one meeting system.
The forum is an excellent platform for emerging growth and established biotech companies from the US and overseas to address investors, their advisers and media. Every year around 60 are selected to present, with listed companies presenting on the first day. The private companies, which are mostly IPO prospects and venture-funded are streamed by sector. Workshop sectors cover Therapeutics, Immunology/Oncology, Post Genomics and Medical Devices.
The program provides roundtables on key industry and scientific developments as well as finance and investment trends and will include a segment focused specifically on neurology.
