"Rickie" Manashi Patnaik, MD
Rickie has over 20 years of deep and varied consulting experience in clinical affairs, regulatory strategy, medical marketing and commercialization of drugs, devices, cosmeceutials, technologies and services in the US, UK and India. He has broad experience in the development of a wide range of products and services in multiple specialties including dermatology, asthma, allergy, oncology, urology ,infectious disease and rheumatology.
He founded Transtek Clinical Systems Inc in 2002, as a global company focused on development and commercialization in healthcare and life science with offices in the USA and India. Clients include diagnostic, device, cosmetic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies as well as Contract Research Organizations, Site Management companies, Government agencies and NGO’s.
For over 8 years he was also partner and managing director of an international clinical research and development company, Clinical Research Specialists Inc founded by Nicholas Lowe, MD, Professor of Medicine and Dermatology at UCLA , with offices in Santa Monica and London, UK, where clients included major pharmaceutical , biotechnology and device companies. Dr. Patnaik has over 10 years prior experience in post-doctoral clinical research and training in a variety of settings and responsibilities .
He has over 40 publications including chapters in books He obtained his medical degree from the SCB Medical College India and graduate studies in health management at University of Southern California. He is certified in regulatory affairs and is a long standing member of many professional organizations including Regulatory Affairs Professional Society, ASQ, IHEA and American College of Healthcare Executives.
