Eric Wilkinson
Eric is an experienced biotechnology executive with over twenty years of increasing responsibility in executive management, R&D, operations, and business development. Eric has developed and commercialized many products currently on the market, founded or co-founded four biotechnology companies, served as President of three companies and served on Boards of Directors of both public and private companies.
Eric has focused on primarily in the development and commercialization of molecular and diagnostic products. He has significant experience in automation and microfluidics and subsequent integration of biological assays with platform technologies. Eric also has experience in FDA and international regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Eric’s experience in the diagnostic arena has been utilized in a consulting capacity for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the National Institute of Public Health in Norway, Orchid Diagnostics, ViroLogic, and Chemicon, Inc.
Eric has gained significant operational and diagnostic development experiences as President of DNA Sciences, President of Synthetic Genetics, and in a research capacity at both Diversa and IDEC Pharmaceuticals.
Eric holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
