Appligene Oncor (now part of MP Biomedicals)

Appligene Oncor specializes in the design, production and distribution of reacting substances and instruments for laboratory research in molecular biology. Reactive substances include specific enzymes, products from chemistry and fragments of DNA. Founded in 1985, Stan facilitated the public listing of Appligene on the Nouveau Marche in July of 1996. Appligene's assets are currently owned by MP Biomedicals.

Biophan, Inc. (OTCBB:BIPH)

Biophan licenses its technologies, which improve the MRI safety and image compatibility of medical devices to leading device manufacturers. In addition, the Company is helping to commercialize the MYOTECH MYO-VAD™, a new, MRI-compatible cardiac recovery system, which has significant potential to improve the treatment of many forms of heart disease. Since 2005, Katan has assisted in shaping Biophan's overall strategy. In December of 2006, Stan joined the Company's Board of Directors.

Conjuchem Inc (TSX:CJB)

ConjuChem creates novel, next-generation medicines using unique, long-acting therapeutic peptides. Underlying all ConjuChem compounds are bioconjugation platforms called Drug Affinity Construct (DAC™) and Preformed Conjugate-Drug Affinity Construct (PC-DAC™). When applied to a given peptide, DAC™ and PC-DAC™ can create new drugs with similar therapeutic activities but with significantly longer durations of activity and improved safety profiles. Stan was an original Co- Founder of the Company in it's current form and was a former member of the Board of Directors.

CryoCath, Inc. (TSX:CYT)

CryoCath, Inc. is a medical technology company that leads the world in cryotherapy products to treat cardiovascular disease. With a priority focus on providing physicians with a complete solution of catheter and surgical products to treat cardiac arrhythmias, CryoCath has multiple products approved in the U.S., across Europe and in several other countries. Stan was an original Co- Founder of the company and was a former member of the Board of Directors.

DCI USA, Inc. (OTCBB:DCIU)

DCI USA Inc., located in Great Neck, New York, is a company specializing in real estate and clean energy. DCIU invests in, operates, and manages companies in which it has taken either an equity or debt interest in the growing clean energy market. The Company provides ongoing support for its investments by providing networking and strategic decision-making. Seth is currently a member of DCI's Board of Directors.

Eragen Biosciences, Inc.

EraGen Biosciences, Inc. is a venture-backed biotechnology company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets essential molecular diagnostic testing products. EraGen products include the next generation of easy-to-use genetic testing for early, accurate diagnosis of critical disease states, including infectious diseases, genetic-based conditions and cancer. In addition, the Company's innovative diagnostics serve emerging markets for personalized medicine and rapid biothreat response needs. Stan was an original Co-Founder of the Company.

Grant Life Sciences, Inc (OTCBB:GLIF)

Grant Life Sciences, Inc., is a development stage company, engaged in the research, development, marketing, and sale of diagnostic kits for the screening, monitoring, and diagnosis of diseases with emphasis on women's health, infectious diseases, and cancers. Stan currently serves as the Chairman of the Company.

Mercury Therapeutics, Inc.

Privately held Mercury Therapeutics, Inc., ("MTI") is an early stage pharmaceutical company focused on the development of small molecule Signal Transduction Modifiers for the treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. MTI is developing drugs by employing its proprietary proteomic-based technology to identify novel drug targets acting in signal transduction pathways critical to the control of cell proliferation, energy metabolism and inflammation. Katan assisted in the initial creation of MTI. Stan is currently a member MTI's Board of Directors.

Qbiogene (now part of MP Biomedicals)

Qbiogene is a global organization offering research products for all molecular biology researchers. Products include BIO 101® purification and media products, as well as innovative tools for transfection, PCR, gene delivery, protein expression, plant biotechnology, and all routine cloning procedures. Stan was an original founder of the Company, and acted as both CEO and Chariman, respectively. Stan developed the Company's overall acquisition strategy, managed its fundraising activities and created its overall capitalization strategy. In 2005, the Company was acquired by MP Biomedicals. MP Biomedicals manufactures and sells more than 55,000 products and is one of the only companies in the industry to offer a comprehensive line of life science, fine chemical and diagnostic products.

Phenomenome Discoveries, Inc.

Phenomenome Discoveries Inc., is a privately owned company located in Saskatoon, Canada . Processing samples since December 2000, Phenomenome is the first company in the world to make non-targeted metabolomic investigation of complex biological samples commercially available using its proprietary DISCOVAmetrics metabolite analysis and informatics platform. Phenomenome has in-house and collaborative research programs in human health, pharmacometabolomics, and agriculture.

VitaResc AG (now part of Curacyte AG)

VitaResc Biotech AG was founded in March 1999 as a development-stage company focused on novel treatments for critical care conditions and inflammatory diseases. Katan assisted TVM on the acquisition of a US subsidiary. In 2002, VitaResc AG merged with Curacyte AG. Curacyte is a research-based biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of hospital therapeutics for acute and critical care conditions.
