Biotechnology Industry Organization

The mission of BIO is to be the champion of biotechnology and the advocate for its member organizations -both large and small. BIO represents more than 1,100 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and 31 other nations. BIO members are involved in the research and development of healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products. Katan is a BIO member and currently enjoys an active participation in this world class organization. Katan has been fortunate to participate in many ways at BIO's annual meetings.

Biocomm2

Biocomm2 is an international business development company based in Melbourne, Australia that specializes in both in and out-licensing transactions for its clients. Biocomm2 has clients in Australia, Japan, Europe and North America. To date the Principals of Biocomm2 have experience in over 50 licensing transactions. Biocomm2 has completed in excess of US $200 million of partnerships since 2002.

Katan is proud to announce that in December 2006 it has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Biocomm2 in order to provide global services and access to its partnering clients.

BioEnterprise Asia

BioEnterprise Asia is a Life Science and BioBusiness Technology Management Company dedicated to identifying, nurturing and managing the development of innovative new technologies and high growth enterprises in healthcare, the life sciences and related technology areas. BEA understands healthcare, biotechnology and the life sciences and takes a proactive market-oriented stance in identifying and exploiting innovative technologies and high growth technology business opportunities. Katan is fortunate to enjoy a strong relationship with BEA.

Sachs Associates

Sachs Associates is a London-based company, which organizes and produces securities and emerging markets conferences in association with major exchanges and news agencies. Sachs Associates is dedicated to the highest quality standards in conferencing and, as a result, produces only a limited number of events each year. Sachs Associates investment conferences focus on Emerging Markets, European Equities and Technology, and are held in major financial centres such as London, New York and Zurich. Sachs Associates is focused on the practical benefits accruing from conference participation, the exchange of ideas and information, and the facilitating of business transactions. Katan has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Sachs.

Holdus Ventures

Holdus Ventures is a spin off of the European leading technology consulting and investment firm Holdus Group. With more than 15 years of global presence throughout Europe and an international network of high level alumni spread in trans-national corporations, government and international organizations, Holdus Group has built the backbone for the successful development of Holdus Ventures in North America. Holdus Ventures was founded in 2004 as a California Corporation to adapt and implement the outstanding business model and European experience of Holdus Group.

The Accelsiors Group was founded 4 years ago in Germany to facilitate the development of Drugs and Biologics worldwide. Specific competancy in cludes the Development of Biosimilars, from process development, formulation development and Pre-clinical development, to full service CRO work and clinical develoment from Phase I to Phase III.
